My sculptural work explores the human figure — particularly the female form — as object, fragment, and presence. Working primarily in clay, I’m drawn to the tension between use and presence, allowing each piece to hover between object and artifact. Gesture, weight, and subtle emotional tension drive the work, while pattern and small irregularities in surface and form shape how each piece is ultimately experienced.
